33-7 Arizona: Delhomme has SIX turnovers

I never thought I'd see Bank of America stadium look like this tonight -- it's late in the fourth quarter now, and there are maybe 10,000 people left in here.

Who can blame people for leaving? Arizona just took an astounding 33-7 lead after Arizona's Neil Rackers kicked his fourth field goal. The Cardinals have scored 33 straight points after Carolina took that early 7-0 mirage of a lead.

Jake Delhomme now has a team-record five interceptions -- he's never, ever been worse. He looks lost. Add in the fumble and that's six turnovers for Jake, all of them on his 34th birthday.

Wow.

You talk about ending a season with a thud.

This is unbelievable.

the stadium does look a tad bit empty on tv.

Scott, you said:
"he's never, ever been worse"

but what you really should have said is:
"he's never, ever been good"

He has to be let go. He will never recover from this. I wouldn't even let him in the locker room. Mail him his stuff.

Should have known. This is what we do. We have a great drive, then we ruin it. It's what we've gotten used to since 2003. Great job Jake, and this city needed something to cheer it up. Oh well, there's always hope in the stock market on Monday! Oh, wait.

I wanna see one more pick!

why is he still in the game. Even in the NHL they pull the goalie after he gets tagged for a few goals.

Put in the 14 year old PPK champ.

HaHaHaHa! Way to go Panthers. Matt Ryan almost beat this team on the road. Way to get cornholed in your own backyard!!!

seriously, it is absurd that Fox still thinks a guy that committed 6 turnovers still gives a team it's best chance to "win"...

just another example of coaching incompetence.

Anybody know about free agent QBs available for next season?

Fire Jake. And then fire Fox and Hurney, too. Seriously.

"Anybody know about free agent QBs available for next season?"

the fact that Fox still has him in there now just emphasizes that if Fox is back next year, Jake will be as well...

the only way we get rid of Jake is if the Big Cat cans Fox and brings in Cowher - since CAR is the job Cowher is waiting for anyway.

Go Cards.

Cassell. Go get him. Pay him.

TO JASON : Your Mom wants you to go to bed. You're getting SWEEPY....Arizona didn't beat Carolina..We beat ourselves.. That is why Arizona took it easy the 2nd half...

I agree that Coach Cowher now living in NC, is definitely looking for that opportunity to be the head coach at Carolina...JMO...

I have no doubt he would take it...

Can u imagine being his teammate right now....ugh...

Wonder if Smitty wants to sucker punch him...j/k
However I know I do :(

How disappointing for all the fans who paid top dollar to attend this game, if it can even be characterized as such.

Ernie, I am sorry. That was rude. But man, I have been with these guys for 20 years; since they moved to AZ. I have been to games; watch as much as I can and this is the first time for us. Good luck to the Panthers next year.

It never ceases to amaze me how top paid atheletes like the panthers can go out and stink up a BALL GAME like the one tonight. If these guys had to work a regular job, it would kill them. From Fox down to the Ball Boy, they should be embarrased and ashamed of what they put the fans through tonight. Poor Mr. Richardson. Cannot wait to here the excuses, Fox saying " the buck stops here" and all that other b.s. The defense was a joke the last half of the year. Anyone could see this coming.
